T-MODE has been awarded a contract with CONNECTA to perform the tasks of project management and transport modeling.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“EBRD” or “the Bank”) is considering providing loan funds to Albania (“the Client”) to undertake construction of Tirana Bypass, which is part of major planned regional and European road corridors through Albanian territory. The CONNECTA consortium (“the consultant”) was appointed to provide Consultancy services for the update of cost-benefit analysis of Tirana Bypass project (22km). The end beneficiary for this sub-project is the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (hereinafter MoIE and EBRD). The lead International Financing Institution (IFI) interacting with CONNECTA was the EBRD.

The overall objective of this Sub-project is to provide the Bank with the information, analysis and recommendations it needs to comprehensively assess, structure and approve the Tirana Bypass project from an economic viability perspective.

The specific tasks are:

  2. Task 2 Data collection and analysis;
  3. Task 3 Traffic surveys;
  4. Task 4 Update of existing and future traffic demand and forecast;
  5. Task 5 Emission calculation and Paris Agreement assessment
  6. Task 6 Technical Assessment
  7. Task 7 Update of Cost-Benefit analysis
