Implementation Support to Establish Rail Passenger Operations in Albania
The main objective of the project i support the establishment of rail passenger operations in the context of a Public Service Contract (PSC) and compliant with EU standards.
T-MODE will provide designated staff members with the following responsibilities:
- Review all existing project-related documentation, demand forecasts, timetable of infrastructure improvements, including electrification and signalling changes.
- Based on the available studies and strategic documents (eg. “Second Five Years Review of the Albanian National Transport Plan (ANTP3)”, Feasibility Study of the railway line Elbasan - Pogradec , etc.) prepare the O/D matrices per mode of transport of the existing future projections
