Impact analysis of old Sava bridge replacement in Belgrade

This consultancy project is awarded by Belgrade Land Development Agency within the Feasibility Study of replacement of old Sava bridge.

The Terms of Reference have foreseen as follows:

The offer applies to:

  1. Development of traffic models in the program package PTV VISUM for the base year and 5 forecast time horizons (expected first year of project exploitation, fifth, tenth, fifteenth and twentieth) for the scenario "WITHOUT INVESTMENT" and "WITH INVESTMENT"

  2. Preparation of model outputs and analysis of:
    • Traffic loads by vehicle category on all model sections and for all time horizons for network with and without investments
    • Travel time on the sections by vehicle category and by type of traffic (private, public)
    • Vehicle - hours and vehicle - kilometers at the level of the entire city network and in the affected area of the reconstruction / construction in question
    • Traffic Safety

As a part of the impact analysis, the accessibility of the area was assessed calculating effective density per each scenario. In addition, environmental impact was calculated in VISUM for a range of pollutants and noise emission.
